NASAジョンソン宇宙センター（NASA/JSC）のキュレーター3名が、7月19日から22日までJAXAのキュレーション施設を訪れ、「はやぶさ2」とOSIRIS-RExミッションのキュレーション手法とサンプルの計画に関する情報を交換しました。クリーンルームを含むキュレーション施設を見学し、実際に行われていたサンプル手順と分析を観察しました。また、「はやぶさ2」サンプルの容器を開けることを含む、いくつかのモックアップ作業も体験しました。

Three curators from NASA Johnson Space Center visited the JAXA curation facility from July 19 to 22 to share information on curation techniques and plans for the samples from Hayabusa 2 and OSIRIS-REx missions. They toured the curation facility including the clean rooms to observe the sample procedures and analyses in action, and participated in the few mock-up activities including opening the container of the Hayabusa2 samples.
