The largest particle in the sample returned by Hayabusa2 from asteroid Ryugu is over 10 mm in major diameter (other particles are mainly less than several mm in size), which is more than 30 times larger than the largest particle from asteroid Itokawa returned by the first Hayabusa mission, which was 300 µm in major diameter. This large particle was transferred into a specially designed sample dish and then described using microscopy and the visible/near-infrared spectroscopic and imaging analyzer. On the Astromaterials Science Research Group's web page, you can see a video of actual operation transporting the particle using vacuum tweezers.
