Asteroid Explorer "HAYABUSA" Ion Engine Anomaly
On November 4th (Wed., Japan Standard Time), JAXA identified that one of the main ion engines (Thruster D) aboard the Asteroid Explorer “HAYABUSA” had autonomously stopped detecting a high neutralizer voltage owing to degradation.
