Basic Science

Basic science studies are conducted to support space scientific activities by rockets, satellites and balloons and to contribute to future projects. They include:

1. Theoretical studies of atomic and molecular processes, and their application to space science and other areas.
2. Observational studies of physical processes within molecular clouds.
3. Theoretical and observational studies of the origins of minor celestial bodies (comets, asteroids and meteoroids) in the solar system.
