Invitation for seminar

First of all, for researchers, I would like to invite you for a seminar to share your latest results with us!
We run two seminar series every week. Please utilize the opportunity of visiting ISAS to present your exciting results. Slots other than the regular slots are OK.
Series Regular slot Target audience
Astro colloquia Tue 11:00-12:00 ISAS members in the astrophysics department (X-ray, infrared, radio, etc). A casual style with small audience. Lunch with host and other ISAS members after the seminar for the regular slot. The travel expense is not covered; we apologize in advance.
ISAS seminar Wed 16:30-17:30 All ISAS members, including non-astro science and engineering. A formal style with large audience. The domestic travel expense is covered by ISAS upon request.

Access

The route to ISAS is here and the campus map is here. When in trouble, please give a phone call to me.
Upon arrival of the security gate, you will receive a card. Tell the guard that you will meet me at the building A; different cards are used for different buildings. The card will allow you to enter the main building. Use an elevator at the entrance of the building to the 6th floor and visit me at the room 1620.
For those who come by car, the guard will give you a parking card and suggest a parking space (usually, the parrking space on the right from the gate).

Office

My office space is at the window side of the room 1620 on the 6th floor of the Research and Administration Building (I). We have office spaces for up to two guests in our room. We reserve spaces upon request.

Wireless access

JAXA provides wireless access for guests in all its facilities.

Hotels

Toyoko Inn is the closest to the campus with a 15 minutes walk from ISAS. For an extended stay or to save time, the ISAS lodge is another option.

Dining

Here is a list of options. Fuchinobe is a town hosting several universities and the restaurants are mostly targeted for them. I will take you a food adventure if you are interested.
