Inauguration of a real M-V rocket for public display

A retired M-V rocket left unused due to the cancellation of the LUNAR-A project was assembled and debuted as a public display at the JAXA Sagamihara campus. Its inauguration ceremony and related public lecture were held on October 11, 2008. The rocket with a 2.5 m diameter and 30 m+ length became a new landmark in the tour course of the Sagamihara campus.
