- Admissions：Introductory lectures
The Department Space and Astronautical Science in SOKENDAI will hold a two-days introductory program for the students who wish to enrol the department in the future.
The program consists of lectures and laboratory / facility visits.
The lectures will be given by faculty members of the department.They will talk about basic knowledge as well as cutting-edge topics in their specialized fields for undergraduate students.
The participants will visit laboratories and facilities in the campus to see the research environment at ISAS. Also, there will be an occasion to talk with students who are currently studying at ISAS.
The program is for domestic students, and the lectures and discussions will be mainly in Japanese.
Date: Wednesday, August 28 & Thursday, August 29, 2019
Location: the Institute of Space and Astronautical (Sagamihara Campus), JAXA
Expected participants: Those who consider to study at the Department of Space and Astronautical Science at SOKENDAI in future. We assume undergraduate students of 1st to 3rd year, but we do not exclude other persons.
Language: The lectures and discussions will be mainly in Japanese with some supports in English.

Although there is a limit, we can help participants with traveling expenses and transportation expenses (we do not pay per diem). If you want to apply, please contact us by Monday, August 19, 12:00 JST.

About entry procedure
When visiting the Sagamihara Campus, please be sure to check-in at the guard station. A map of the room where the lecture is held will be provided at the guard station.
