Flare list(LM) : http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/last_events/ DR information
daily note * Request AOCS pointing table update in first pass today. * Note: XRT will conduct remote operations from MAY 29 through JUN 12. Please use Yugma for the morning operations meetings, and dial in to the telecon phone number (see telephone-number card in Hinode morning-meeting room). To contact the XRT Chief Observer, please call +1-617-496-1156 (US phone number). Co-alignment program run: Please run co-alignment program on June 1 for the three instruments. - The sequence should start exactly 15 minutes after the pointing change to stabilize the satellite pointing drift. - 100 minutes for N-limb at 945 arcsec and 100 minutes for E limb at -945 arcsec. - Not necessary to be during SAA-free time. - For XRT, take G-band data every 5 minutes instead of 8 minutes. This is just for the N limb run. 8 minutes cadence is still OK for the E limb run. - For XRT, please take data even during SAA periods. SOT: - Requests AOCS pointing table update in first pass today, to choose target for HOP 71 observations starting at 8:30 or 9:00 UT coordinated with VTT in Tenerife - Sunrise campaign program tests - Needs 3 hours fixed pointing at disk center for post-bakeout flat fields, once each day this week. - Mg tests for HOPs 71 and 120 (Sunrise launch). - HOP 71 target is AR-type region in E. XRT: - XRT supports HOP71 with the low cadence - Multi-filter synoptics. - The test of the standard XOB for an active region. (The required duration is short). - Observe AR at E limb. EIS: - Limb AR observations (Mason et al.). - Sensitivity monitoring. - Support HOP 71. Maintenance Note: LMSAL computer system to be shut down for maintenance, 08:30 JST Sat 30 May, for approximately 24 hours. So SOT web pages and data distribution will not be available from LMSAL (still available from Japan).
