daily note

Weekly meeting

Note: XRT will conduct remote operations from MAY 29 through JUN 12. Please use Yugma for the morning operations meetings, and dial in to the telecon phone number (see telephone-number card in Hinode morning-meeting room).
To contact the XRT Chief Observer, please call +1-617-496-1156 (US phone number).

SOT:
- May request AOCS pointing table update in first pass today, to choose target for HOP 71 observations coordinated with VTT in Tenerife
- Sunrise campaign program tests
- Needs 3 hours fixed pointing at disk center for post-bakeout flat fields, once each day this week.

Co-alignment program run:
Please run co-alignment program on June 1 for the three instruments.
- The sequence should start exactly 15 minutes after the pointing change to stabilize the satellite pointing drift.
- 100 minutes for N-limb at 945 arcsec and 100 minutes for E limb at -945 arcsec.
- Not necessary to be during SAA-free time.
- For XRT, take G-band data every 5 minutes instead of 8 minutes. This is just for the N limb run. 8 minutes cadence is still OK for the E limb run.
- For XRT, please take data even during SAA periods.
