On the next day of the launch, Technological Review Committee of Space Activities Commission was held in Tokyo. The investigation at that time point was reported by ISAS, and some discussions were done. ISAS, on the other hand, established Special Investigation Committee including several members from outside, and began detailed investigation on the cause of the accident. Many messages expressing reprimand, encouragement and deep concern about the future of ISAS. Most of them are full of warm-hearted words like "You should keep the level of Japanese X-ray astronomy which has taken the leadership of world wide efforts." or "Kids in Japan should be blessed with space science dreams as they did thus far."
