daily note

[Maintenance Note (Yamagishi), for CO/CP/RT Tohban]
Some software packages will be updated and security patch will be installed with on machines
'cpws', 'xrtco', 'eisco', 'cpwin', 'aocswin', and 'higashirinkan' at 15:00-18:00(JST) on Tuesday
the 19th of May. When that's over, these machines will be rebooted. Please do not use these
machines during updating, and report if you have any trouble.

Co-alignment program run:
Please run co-alignment program late on May 20 or early on May 21 (before SOT bakeout) for the three instruments.
- The sequence should start exactly 15 minutes after the pointing change to stabilize the satellite pointing drift.
- 100 minutes for N-limb at 945 arcsec and 100 minutes for E limb at -945 arcsec.
- Not necessary to be during SAA-free time.
- For XRT, take G-band data every 5 minutes instead of 8 minutes. This is just for the N limb run. 8 minutes cadence is still OK for the E limb run.
- For XRT, please take data even during SAA periods.

SOT:
- HOP119: Magnetic flux emergence - Joint campaign with CRISP/SST
 (until 19 May, 8-12UT)
- HOP79: irradiance scan (N-S) on 20 May
- NFI test for HOP71 (for one orbit at anytime, DC pointing)
- NFI flat field in 5896, DC pointing at anytime

EIS:
- HOP 119: Magnetic flux emergence - Joint campaign with CRISP/SST (until 19 May, 8-12UT)
    Target of interest:
      If available, active regions on the solar disk at any position;
otherwise quiet Sun internetwork regions at disk center.
- Active Region Studies – Warren, Mariska
run with high priority for AR at central meridian
- Loop morphology and oscillations - de Moortel, Bewsher, Young
relatively quiescent (non-flaring) coronal loop system either on disk or limb.
- Perform Slit/Slot calibration.

XRT:
- Support HOP 79.
- Observe AR.
- CME watch.

[Maintenance Note (Morita), for CO/CP/RT Tohban]
The following machines will be maintenanced on Tuesday ,May 19th.
The machines will be not rebooted.
Data distributors for real time operation are not related to this maintenance.
Please report if you have any trouble.
„Data distributor used for transfer of commands ; at 15:00-15:30
„Telemetry gateway machines from non-JAXA stations ; at 10:00-11:00
„EBINA for file server ; 15:00-15:30
