daily note

Co-alignment program run:
Please run co-alignment program on May 6 for the three instruments.
- The sequence should start exactly 15 minutes after the pointing change to stabilize the satellite pointing drift.
- 100 minutes for N-limb at 945 arcsec and 100 minutes for E limb at -945 arcsec.
- Not necessary to be during SAA-free time.
- For XRT, take G-band data every 5 minutes instead of 8 minutes. This is just for the N limb run. 8 minutes cadence is still OK for the E limb run.
- For XRT, please take data even during SAA periods AND TWILIGHT periods.

SOT: RCO phone 1-650-644-6147, Tom Cruz local backup
* HOP 117 (IBIS, Sac Peak), track a pore.
* HOP 73 (Prominence ToO; Y. Lin & Berger)
* support S-pole coronal hole study (SP, do before HOP 73)
* SP flats at Sun center.

EIS:
* HOP 73 (Prominence ToO; Lin & Berger)
* Coronal hole boundary reconnection (Murray)
 - minimum 6 hours on coronal hole boundary
 - FOV 70" x 200": request XRT and SOT to match with similar FOVs (within capabilities);
 - EIS takes slit images at 100-second cadence; equal to or better than this would be good from SOT and XRT.
 - support S-pole coronal hole study by XRT

XRT:  XRT RCO phone number: 1-617-496-1156
- HOP 117 support
- HOP 73 prominence support
- S-pole coronal hole study
