daily note Note: XRT will conduct Remote Operations from Mar. 20th through Apr. 9th, 2009 (JST). [Maintenance Note (Yamagishi), for CO/CP/RT Tohban] Some software packages will be updated with command 'yum update' on machines 'cpws', 'xrtco', and 'eisco' at 15:00-18:00(JST) on Tuesday the 7th of April. When that's over, the machine 'aocswin' will be rebooted. Please report if you have any trouble. Co-alignment program run: Please run co-alignment program on April 7 or 8 for the three instruments. - The sequence should start exactly 15 minutes after the pointing change to stabilize the satellite pointing drift. - 100 minutes for N-limb at 945 arcsec and 100 minutes for E limb at -945 arcsec. - Not necessary to be during SAA-free time. - For XRT, take G-band data every 5 minutes instead of 8 minutes. This is just for the N limb run. 8 minutes cadence is still OK for the E limb run. - For XRT, please take data even during SAA periods. SOT: - HOP 115, one remaining pointing at -75 deg. - Support HOP116. - Support flux-cancellation observation proposed by EIS CO. EIS: - HOP 116(Korreck): wide range of temperature raster, target bright region at NW limb. - Core plan (Yokoyama): TR Doppler and magnetic features of cancellations (QS/AR/CH near disk center, need SOT, XRT supports). XRT: - HOP 116. Nominal time 12-18 UT, target is bright area at NW limb. - XRT will perform a mutli-filter synoptic, to be done during extended synoptic. - Observe XBP at on-disc CH boundary, telemetry permitting.
