daily note

Note: XRT will conduct Remote Operations from Mar. 20th through Apr.
9th, 2009 (JST).  Please continue using Yugma for the Morning Operations
Meetings, and dial in to the telecon phone number (see
telephone-number card in Hinode morning-meeting room). To contact the
XRT Chief Observer, please call +1-617-496-1156 (US phone number).

HOP 98 / SOHO JOP at 11-19UT Apirl 1

SOT:
Active Region Programs as Target of Oportunity - might superceed others QS programs.
Support of HOP98

EIS:
-- Support HOP98 from 11-15UT with high cadence period at 12-14UT.
-- Fast scans of active region for 6 hours on 2-3 consecutive days if it shows good loops and is reasonably bright. In this case, request SOT magnetograms at 2-3 min cadence (if possible) and occasional SP map. Request XRT support at similar cadence (1 filter is enough). (Del Zanna).
-- If AR is no good for the above program or SOT/XRT can't support it, we will run a combination of slot movies and AR dynamics programs with the slit.

XRT:
Support HOP98.
AR observing Programs.  ***AR observations will be a priority for XRT.***
