[Maintenance Note (Yamagishi), for CO/CP/RT Tohban] Some software packages will be updated with command 'yum update' on machines 'cpws', 'xrtco', and 'eisco' at 15:00-18:00(JST) on Tuesday the 3rd of February. When that's over, the machine 'aocswin' will be rebooted. Please report if you have any trouble. SOT: - Study of E-W center-to-limb variation of magnetic elements with SP deep mode. Looking for weak fields, turbulent fields, etc. XRT: - Polar jet observations in S CH. - Support EIS wave studies. - Sometime during the week may run extended synotptics for multi-thermal plasma studies. EIS: - Search for evidence of wave actitivity in the solar corona, off-limb. Requires at least six hours. - May run AR study during week.
