daily note XRT RCO contact number: +1-617-496-1156. [Maintenance Note (Morita), for CO/CP/RT Tohban] The data distributor used for transfer of commands and transfer of telemetry into the Hinode operation room will be maintenanced at 15:00-16:00 (JST) on Tuesday, September 2nd.The machines will be rebooted. Please report if you have any troubleD Co-alignment program: Please run co-alignment program on Sep 2 (or 3) for the three instruments. - The sequence should start exactly 15 minutes after the pointing change to stabilize the satellite pointing drift. - 100 minutes for N-limb at 945 arcsec and 100 minutes for E limb at -945 arcsec. - Not necessary to be during SAA-free time. HOP 76 to be run late 2 Sep or early 3 Sep, three different pointings, with durations set by EIS study (about 30 min.). Target is equitorial CH. HOP 74 continues; 9-11 UT, and 8-12 if possible. Sun-center tracking times to be specified by SOT. EIS: - Support HOP73 - Polar Coronal Hole Observation – Harra, Gabriel point the boundary of the coronal hole and the limb request Ca II from SOT and the normal polar dynamics study from XRT [SSC recommends this be run on 5 Sep, since there are no HOPs that day.] - Support HOP76 - Sensitivity monitoring today for 3.5 hours on quiet Sun near disk center. XRT: - Support HOP73: Quiescent Prominence - Support HOP74: QS and XBP observations. - Support HOP76: Equatorial Coronal Hole - nano-flares in QS (P. Grigis). - Hot temperature plasma study: full disk observations for >2.5 hr, XOB#15B0 (Ishibashi) SOT: - Support co-alignment programs run at N. Pole and E. Limb - Support HOP 74 QS observations - Support HOP 76.
