daily note [Maintenance Note (Yamagishi, Higashitani), for CO/CP/RT Tohban] Some software packages will be updated with command 'yum update' on machines 'cpws', 'xrtco', and 'eisco' and also additional configuration changes will be applied at 15:00-18:00(JST) on Tuesday the 12th of August. When that's over, the workstains, 'aocswin', and 'cpwin' will be rebooted. Please report if you have any trouble. XRT: - Large scale hot QS plasma (Bish-san study). - HOP 76 on Aug.13 or 14 when CH is near the limb. - Support HOP 75. - QS studies. EIS: - Support for HOPs where possible: - HOP 75: Hida (Nagata). - HOP 76 support. - Density measurements on on-disk CH at W limb, will require ~3 (or more) hours, maybe done with HOP 76, but not necessarily. - N pole pointing for amount of time comparable to CH density study. - Support XRT hot QS study.
