daily note Maintenance note (Matsuzaki): Change refferences of the directory /home/flare/pub from cpws and cowss (15:00-18:00): No side effects are expected. EIS: SOHO ICAL1 to run today in coordination with CDS & EIT & STEREO. This needs to go in the weekend plan (Saturday upload). Target is quiet Sun at disk center in tracking mode (unless an active region interferes). Time slot is 11-14.30UT. SOHO/STEREO team may have requests for SOT and XRT (TBD). Other quiet Sun programs to run over the weekend or in the next few days. Could also run on the emerging bright point. (Brooks) Continuous tracking of the same area of quiet Sun for an extended period on the order of one day (depending on telemetry allocation). EIS will observe outside of Hinode night and SAA for around 30 mins each orbit. Request support from SOT (magnetograms) and XRT (to be discussed). (Brooks) quiet Sun high cadence slot raster movies at multiple temperatures. Request support from SOT (magnetograms/Ca II) and XRT (one thin filter) if possible. Examining the relationship between coronal activity and the evolution of the photospheric magnetic field. Observations during long SAA free period for 4-5 hours.
