In this talk, I will go over some of the efforts in numerical and experimental CMB
optics characterisation currently undertaken at the University of Iceland. This includes
the 6-axis robot arm microwave holography setup, the numerical investigation of the
impact of various large-scale manufacturing defects on metamaterial coatings as well as
numerical and experimental investigation of how various materials scatter at large
angles in order to improve existing NET calculation pipelines.
