The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (Sokendai) provides intensive course and laboratory training to applicants, in cooperation with five departments of School of Physical Sciences (Space and Astronautical Science, Fusion Science, Structural Molecular Science, Functional Molecular Science, and Astronomical Science).
The purpose of this program is to make the better use of the high-level research and educational content of Sokendai for educating undergraduates, graduates, and young researchers in Asian countries as well as those in Japan.
Under the main theme 'New eyes to explore the world', the Department of Space and Astronautical Science and the Department of Astronomical Science will open the joint winter school entitled 'Science Eyes and Minds towards Cosmic Horizon'.
