Entrance Exam | About changes of selection methods

The Department of Space and Astronautical Science changes selection methods in entrance exams (general entrance exams) for admission into the 5-year course or the 3-year course (admission into the third-year cource) from the admission in October 2017 or April 2018. The details are shown below.

Specialized subject (exams for admission into the 5-year course)

Specialized subject (exams for admission into the 5-year course): Exams in mathematics and physics will be performed separately. There will be basic questions that are common to a wide range of fields.

English

TOEFL or TOEIC score should be submitted instead of an examination. You cannot apply for admission if the score is not greater than or equal to 500 (TOEFL PBT), 173 (TOEFL CBT), 61 (TOEFL-iBT), or 586 (TOEIC).
Submission of other certification of your English skill* may be accepted as an alternative to TOEFL or TOEIC.
