Although there are many difficulties to travel to the Mars, we are 
focusing our attention on manned Mars exploration technologies. If water 
can be found underground of the Mars, CO2 will be reduced for generating 
O2 and C1 organics using an electrolyzer driven by solar cells. An 
energy storage device of Li-ion cells should overcome under low 
temperature operation. Feasibility studies of the electrolyzer and Li-
ion cell will be introduced.
