 abstract of observational proposal
Objectives:
1. To understand the temporal evolution of the polar magnetic patches and the appearance of faculae within magnetic patches during the solar cycle.

2. To understand the interaction of polar magnetic patches with opposite polarity magnetic elements leading to polarity reversal.

Scientific Background:
SOT/SP observations revealed that the polar region is covered with isolated patches. To learn about the formation and disintegration of these magnetic patches, we need to analyze the temporal data. We also would like to understand the interaction between magnetic patches ofopposite polarity which leads to the polarity reversal on the polar region.
