 abstract of observational proposal
EIS core team long term study promoted to HOP at the time of SUMER campaign

 request to SOT
- request Ca II from SOT

 request to XRT
- request the normal polar dynamics study from XRT

 request to EIS
(rev for obs. Mar/Apr-2009)
EIS should be pointed to *the low latitude boundary of the Coronal Hole near central meridian*
- Obtain velocity maps of million degree plasma
- *2" slit scan*, *FOV 280"x256",* *90 sec exp time*; DPCM for line profile precision
- run *JS_CH_280x256_2arc*; data volume: *99812* kBits, run time: *3h45m28s*
Note 1: run regcal 071 and regcal 072 before running this study
Note 2: ideally this study should run e.g. 2 or 3 times consecutively

(original)
- EIS should be pointed to include the boundary of the coronal hole and the limb
- Obtain velocity maps of million degree plasma

- 1" slit scan, FOV 140"x256", 45sec exp time; DPCM for line profile precision
      - run JS_CH_140x256p; data volume: 77295 kBits, run time: 1h55m13s
Note 1: run regcal 071 and regcal 072 before running this study
Note 2: ideally this study should run e.g. 2 or 3 times consecutively

 other participating instruments
SUMER observation: Observe Si II for good network definition

 remarks
Pointing:
(rev)
*the low latitude boundary of the Coronal Hole near central meridian*

(original)
Observation run previously on both N and S poles

Alan Gabriel will specify pointing
