 abstract of observational proposal
1. Compare the emergence of horizontal magnetic fields on the photosphere with the choromosphere.
2. Do transient horizontal magnetic fields seen on the photosphere appear in the chromosphere?
3. Do the horizontal fields have any effects on the choromospheric activity?

Observe transient horizontal fields in the QS, the plage, CH, and AR.

 request to SOT
*SP: Very deep mode map, FOV 100h x 164h
Simultaneous FG: Na IVDG shutterless G-band and Ca, 100h wide, 2 min cadence

*SP: Fast mode map, FOV 9.6h x 164h
Simultaneous FG: Na IVDG shutterless G-band and Ca, 60h wide, 1 min cadence
The template programs were run in 11/23-26, 11/28-30.

 request to XRT
Find the relationship between the transient horizontal fields and transition region and corona A test of HOP 54 (East limb observation) was carried out from 11/23 to 11/26, and 11/28 to 11/30. The following XOB was used. XOB#1472: FOV512x512, Al-poly 40 cadence. In addition to Al-poly, Thin-Be can be used when active region is observed.

 request to EIS
Find the relationship between the transient horizontal fields and transition region and corona

*When SOT carries out wide scan with very deep mode ST 229 (run in 11/23-26, 11/28-30(a test of HOP 54)) or ST 163 can be used.

*When SOT carries out narrow scan with fast mode. The programs with Raster of ID=77 run in 11/23-26, 11/28-30 for the quiet Sun at limb. A program including Raster of ID =136 can be used for the active region observation.

 remarks
Duration: 6 hours x 3 day, when AR is recognized at the limb by SOT.
Start at 22:00UT if Hida Obs. is available.
