daily note

OP/Table uploads for eclipse on August 1

[Eclipse observation]
* Hinode night  08:08:38.1 - 08:18:55.8  (based on Sun at 50km height).

- PSF measurement using lunar limb during first eclipse.  Point at (-275,-704),
which is lunar edge at deepest eclipse of eclipse 1, about 9:09 UT, by Berger-san.

* Solar eclipse No.1 viewed from Hinode:
 Begin at  9:02:11.4 @ ( 942,  -80), Min   at  9:08:49.5 @ (-275, -704), End   at  9:15:49.6 @ (-737,  591)

* Hinode night  09:47:09.6 - 09:57:23.9

- 10:10 -10:25 UT, disc-center pointing for collaboration with Koutchmy-san in Siberia.

* Solar eclipse No.2 viewed from Hinode:
 Begin at 10:28:19.9 @ ( 939,  103), Min   at 10:35:21.5 @ ( -88,  363), End   at 10:42:09.1 @ (-877, -351)

* Total eclipse from Russia to China area [Coordination with other observations]
- N pole pointing (0,930) (in the pointing tool: (0,900)), at minimum, between eclipses 2 and 3; with Sterling, Farid, and Savcheva santachi.  N plumes will be visible during eclipse 2, so if there are no other requests pointing to this target can start immediately after end of Koutchmy-san observations (10:25UT).  This can end at start of or during middle of eclipse 3.

- Scattered-light study by Kano-san during eclipse 3, at N pole.

* Hinode night  11:25:41.2 - 11:35:52.0

* Solar eclipse No.3 viewed from Hinode:
 Begin at 11:55:35.5 @ ( 131,  936), Min   at 12:02:23.5 @ ( 244, -203), End   at 12:08:45.3 @ (-889, -320)

* Hinode night  13:04:12.7 - 13:14:20.1

SLE gateway computers will be switched to new one. Works for this are scheduled:
 7/30 13:00-15:30JST
 7/31  9:30-12:00JST
Note that JAXA GN operation uses old system on 7/30 and new on 7/31.

SOT:
- eclipse support has priority
- IBIS and HOP 72 if possible, IBIS is 14-17UT, HOP 72 is 7-10UT

EIS:
- eclipse
- XBP study, requesting SOT support for magnetogram
- QS study
