Maintenance Information for FY2008

[2009/2/23]

Due to the file server maintenance, user area (/home/*, /scr/*,/udat/*)
and directories used for analysis (/soda/*) will not be available
for 22 minutes from 10:30 to 13:30 JST on Monday, Mar 2.
You will not be able to login because home directory will not be available.

[2009/1/26]

Due to the fire wall maintenance, a connection to the Hinode
data analysis system will be lost for a few tens of seconds to a few minutes
from 14:30 to 14:35 JST on Wednesday, Jan 28.

Similarly, a connection to the Hinode data analysis system
will be lost for a few seconds within following times.
15:30 - 15:35 JST on Wednesday, Jan 28
18:20 - 18:25 JST on Wednesday, Jan 28

Due to the fire wall maintenance, the system will not be available
from 12:00 to 12:05 JST on Tuesday, Jan 13.

Additionally, due to the file server maintenance,
a connection to the directories (/home, /soda/hinode/sot)
will be lost twice for 20 seconds
from 11:00 to 15:00 JST on Tuesday, Jan 13.

Time of the occurrence are scheduled for following times,
12:00 - 12:05
13:30 - 13:35

[2008/12/11]

Due to power outage at the entire area of the ISAS Sagamihara campus,
the system will not be available from 18:00 JST on Friday, Dec 12 to 10:00 JST on Monday, Dec 15.

Please note, the gateway machines (ssh1,ssh2) will be stopped shorter time period
(from 7:00 to 21:00 JST on Saturday, Dec 13).

[2008/12/8]

Due to a file server maintenance, user area (/home/*, /scr/*,/udat/*)
and directories used for analysis (/soda/*)　will not be available
on Tue. Dec 9th, from 10:00 to 11:10 (JST).
You will be unable to login because home directory will not be available.

[2008/8/22]

The Solar network will be reconfigured on Tuesday Aug. 26th day time (JST).
The network will be stopped during this time period.

[2008/5/29]

Due to a file server maintenance, directories (/soda/*) which
include HINODE Data Products and Solar software will not be
available on Mon. June 2nd, from 13:00 to 14:00 (JST).

[2008/5/23]

Fileserver maintenance which is scheduled
on Mon. May 19th, from 10:00 to 12:00 (JST) will be canceled.
Directories (/soda/*) which include HINODE Data Products and
Solar software will be available as usual.

[2008/5/16]

For system maintenance, we may stop the rsync service from the DARTS
(133.74.128.160 and darts.isas.jaxa.jp)
once or a few times in next several days. The stop periods will be in
Japan day time (00:00 UTC - 09:00 UTC) and at most for an hour for each.

The ISAS main data servers have suffered heavy load in these days. To
keep our service stable, we shall perform the system check and test.

[2008/5/13]

Due to a file server maintenance, directories (/soda/*) which
include HINODE Data Products and Solar software will not be
available on Mon. May 19th, from 10:00 to 12:00 (JST).

[2008/4/14]

Scratch area maintenance on Thursday April 17th 13:00-14:30(JST).
After the maintenance, old scratch area (/scr/s[1-9]) which is not
in service will be deleted.
Please move your files by yourselves if you have in old area.

Additionally scratch area for ftp (/scr/ftp) will be migrated.

Scratch area will not be available during this time period.
